Employment

An important economic generator for the future of the city of Coquitlam, Fraser Mills will create space for over 1,700 permanent jobs. These jobs will offer a variety of employment opportunities in unique areas including retail, grocery, community buildings, a light industrial node, and a production and innovation hub, which will facilitate a range of large scale and small scale commercial and industrial uses. Currently onsite are multiple successfully operating businesses, one of which is Olivier Breads combining commercial baking with a neighbourhood-oriented storefront. Another, AG Hair headquarters, on the foot of King Edward Boulevard, received the prestigious best Industrial Building Design by the Urban Development Institute (UDI).

United Boulevard will be designated as a Production and Innovation Hub. Commercial and retail space will be focused on United Boulevard and Riverfront Plaza.
